Yuriko Junqua started ballet when she was six years old. She learned ballet in Japan ( Vaganova style) until she was 27 years old. Yuriko loves to dance and never stopped dancing. She also loves to teach, especially adults who decide to start dancing ballet later in life. Yuriko believes that dancing ballet can be for everybody, not only for people who are slim and flexible. Yuriko loves to share her love for ballet with her students, and she takes great pleasure seeing the progress of her students. Her goals are for her students to improve step by step, stay healthy by dancing, and be confident enough to join a higher level class without hesitation. To reach these goals, Yuriko's class emphasizes basic movements to acquire ballet fundamentals.
She also completed 21units of “Child Studies” courses at West Valley College in 2017.
